Do You Hear The People Sing? is the definitive celebration of the extraordinary work and partnership of celebrated composer and lyricist duo Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg.

Truly a dream concert and once in a lifetime opportunity to hear some of the world’s greatest vocalists in concert, showcasing the hits from the pair’s much loved musicals Les MisérablesMiss SaigonMartin Guerre, The Pirate Queen as well as their very first musical together, La Révolution Française.

A spectacular event like no other, Do You Hear The People Sing? features Tony award winner Alfie Boe and musical theatre royalty Lea Salonga alongside Joanna Ampil (the original Australian Kim in Miss Saigon), David Harris (Miss Saigon), Amanda Harrison (WickedMiss SaigonLes Misérables) and Suzie Mathers (WickedMamma Mia).

Created by the Boublil and Schönberg themselves, this is the only concert of their work they have ever authorised and it’s coming to Adelaide first, ahead of an East Coast Australian tour. A major stage production showcasing superstar soloists with orchestral and choral backing, Do You Hear The People Sing? is the musical event of the year.

Alfie Boe is a platinum recording artist who is acclaimed for the role of Jean Valjean in the 25th anniversary concert and applauded for his performances on Broadway and in London’s West End. Alfie will appear alongside Lea Salonga who is best known as the originator of Kim in Miss Saigon in London’s West End for which she won the Laurence Olivier Award, and became the first Asian woman to win a Tony Award when the show opened on Broadway. A star of stage and screen, Salonga is also celebrated as a Disney Legend - voicing the animated film roles of Jasmine in Aladdin and Fa Mulan in Mulan.
